Hooray for Walmart

Walmart decided just recently that it would, in April, increase the minimum wage paid to its hourly employees to $9 per hour. The nation’s largest employer stated it would further increase its employees to a minimum wage of $10 in February 2016. (more…)

Netanyahu: A warmonger in fear of losing re-election

The recent betrayal of the remaining dignity of the U.S. Congress by the House Speaker in allowing Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to speak is an embarrassment to us all. This act by Boehner and his colleagues was clearly intended to undermine the foreign policy of this country, in violation of public policy and the separation of powers clause of the U.S. Constitution. Grandparents raising grandkids could use some help
